Description
The Exo Terra Linear Top is a fantastic dual linear fluorescent light fixture crafted to fit seamlessly on the Exo Terra Natural Terrarium. This canopy can hold two linear fluorescent tubes, allowing you to mix different bulb types and create the perfect ultraviolet and visual light ratio for your beloved animals. The highly polished aluminum reflector is a game - changer, boosting light, UVA, and UVB output by an amazing 100%! The electronic ballasts are a step above traditional ones as they prevent flickering, reducing stress for reptiles and amphibians. There's also a special sliding rim on the top of the canopy where you can easily attach optional accessories like the Exo Terra Digital Thermometer, Hygrometer, or Combometer. Key features include: it holds two linear fluorescent tubes, is ideal for combining ultraviolet and visual light spectrums, has a reflector that greatly increases light and UV output, comes with an individual On/Off switch, uses electronic ballasts, eliminates flickering for a stress - free environment for your pets, has a sliding rim for accessory mounting, and is available in three sizes - Large 36' Hood (holds two 30' T8 Bulbs), Medium 24' Hood (holds two 18' T8 Bulbs), and Small 18' Hood (holds two 15' T8 Bulbs).

Using your Exo Terra Dual Linear Fluorescent Lighting Canopy is easy. First, choose the right size for your terrarium - large, medium, or small. Then, insert two linear fluorescent tubes into the canopy. You can combine different types of bulbs to get the best light for your animals. Flip the individual On/Off switch to turn the light on or off. If you want to monitor temperature, humidity, or other conditions, you can slide optional accessories like the digital thermometer or hygrometer into the sliding rim on top of the canopy. When it comes to maintenance, make sure to turn off the power before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the canopy and reflector. Check the bulbs regularly for any signs of damage and replace them when needed. Also, keep an eye on the electronic ballast to ensure it's working properly. And remember, the lack of flickering in this canopy is great for your reptiles and amphibians, so don't expose them to other flickering lights if possible.
