Description
Upgrade your lighting setup with the Arcadia T5 Reflector Lamp! These super - polished mirror - metal reflectors can be easily attached to your existing fluorescent light fixtures. Just clip it behind the bulb, and it'll give a significant boost to lights with subpar built - in reflectors. It's a cost - effective way to make the most of your UV and light, which would otherwise be wasted due to poor fixture design.
When the lamp is on, light spreads in all directions, with much of it going upwards into the enclosure lid. But with the Arcadia T5 Reflector behind the tube, this stray light is redirected back into the enclosure, maximizing the tube's efficiency. You can even angle the reflector to direct light precisely into the vivarium or terrarium.
Made from sturdy aluminum, it comes in all lengths from 8W to 58W. There are also optimized models for T8 (1”) and T5 (5/8”) lamps. The cylindrical design of the Arcadia T5 Reflector Lamp produces light all around the tube. By using the right reflector, you can capture up to two - thirds of the total light output that would otherwise be wasted. This helps create a more effective basking zone and can triple the UV available to the animals. One high - output Arcadia T5 Reflector Lamp can do the job of four Arcadia T8 Reflectors. A D3 or 6% high - output lamp with a reflector can provide a massive 150+mws at 38cm (15in), far more than the T8 equivalent!

Using the Arcadia T5 Reflector Lamp is easy. First, identify your existing fluorescent light fixture. Then, simply clip the reflector behind the bulb. You can adjust the angle of the reflector to direct light exactly where you need it in the vivarium or terrarium.
When it comes to maintenance, keep the reflector clean. You can use a soft, dry cloth to wipe it down regularly. Avoid using harsh chemicals as they might damage the polished surface.
For safety, make sure the lamp is turned off and cooled down before you handle the reflector. Also, ensure that the fixture can support the weight of the reflector. This way, you'll get the best performance from your Arcadia T5 Reflector Lamp for a long time.
