Reptile Lighting Solution
This reptile light is a game-changer as it offers an efficient UVB source without generating excessive heat. It's ideal for old world chameleons and other reptiles that need more UVB exposure but not high temperatures. These high-output fluorescent reptile lights have the most concentrated UVB spectrum. They can emit up to 10% UVB and 30% UVA, and the UVB output can reach up to 20 feet from the bulb. UVA wavelengths stimulate the appetite, boost activity, and trigger reproductive behavior in captive tortoises, turtles, lizards, chameleons, amphibians, and other reptiles. It also promotes Vitamin D3 synthesis and calcium absorption. The full-spectrum, low-heat lamps are perfect for reptiles with high UVB requirements.
Powerful UVB and Bright Illumination - It's twice as strong as standard ReptiSun 10.0 Lamps!
Enhanced UVB Output: Suitable for larger reptile habitats (check the lamp distance notes on the package).
It helps prevent or reverse Metabolic Bone Disease, a common issue in captive reptiles.

Using this Zoo Med Reptisun 10.0 T5-Ho UVB fluorescent lamp is easy. First, make sure your reptile's habitat is the right size for the lamp's output. Check the package for the recommended distance between the lamp and your reptile. Install the lamp securely in a suitable fixture in the habitat. Keep in mind that this lamp is designed to provide UVB without too much heat, so it's great for reptiles that need more UVB but not high temperatures. For maintenance, turn off the lamp and let it cool down before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to gently wipe the lamp. Replace the lamp as recommended on the package to ensure your reptile gets the right amount of UVB. Also, always keep an eye on your reptile's behavior and health to make sure the lamp is working well for them.
