Description
Almost every pet aquatics company makes a product to remove chlorine. But none can match the quality, concentration, and effectiveness of Seachem’s star product: Prime®. This is a top - notch, concentrated water conditioner for both fresh and saltwater aquariums. Prime® efficiently eliminates chlorine and chloramine while detoxifying ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate. It's non - acidic, so it won't affect the pH of your aquarium water. A great plus for reef enthusiasts—Prime® won't over - activate skimmers. It's up to 5 times more concentrated than competing products, and it's the second most concentrated dechlorinator on the market, just after our own aquavitro® alpha™. Prime® can be used during tank cycling to reduce ammonia/nitrite toxicity. It has a binder that makes ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate non - toxic, helping the biofilter work better. It also detoxifies heavy metals in tap water at normal levels. Use it when starting your aquarium and every time you add or replace water. For fish transportation or quarantine, use Seachem StressGuard™. When introducing new fish, use Stability®. Both pair perfectly with Prime®.
How to use: Use Prime® when you're setting up your aquarium for the first time and every time you add or change the water. It helps to keep the water clean and safe for your fish. Just follow the recommended dosage on the bottle. During tank cycling, it can help reduce the toxicity of ammonia and nitrite. Remember, if you're transporting or quarantining fish, you should also use Seachem StressGuard™. And when adding new fish, Stability® is a great addition to use with Prime®. Precautions: Make sure to store Prime® in a cool and dry place. Keep it out of reach of children. Although it's very effective, don't over - use it as too much of any product might disrupt the balance in your aquarium. Maintenance advice: Regularly check the water parameters in your aquarium to ensure that Prime® is working as it should. If you notice any changes in the water quality or the behavior of your fish, it might be time to adjust the usage of Prime®.
