Description
API Pond Melafix, formerly known as PondCare Melafix, is a top - notch antibacterial solution for common Koi and goldfish problems. It effectively treats issues like Eye Cloud, Mouth Fungus, and Fin and Tail Rot. This all - natural treatment not only promotes the quick healing of damaged fins, tissue, ulcers, and open wounds but also offers a great way to deal with bacterial infections. With its natural active ingredient, it specifically targets bacterial fish infections, helping Koi and goldfish recover and thrive. It rapidly repairs damaged body parts and is safe for snails and other invertebrates. API Pond Melafix won't harm aquatic plants, change the pH, or damage the biological filter. It uses the antibacterial power of Melaleuca (Tea Tree) extract, which is a fantastic alternative for treating bacteria strains resistant to traditional medications. You can often see signs of healing and tissue re - growth within just 4 days of treatment. For the best results, it's formulated to work in tandem with API Pond Pimafix. It's proudly made in the USA. The natural Melaleuca Oil (Cajeput Oil 5%) is the key ingredient in this amazing product.

To use API Pond Melafix, first, shake the bottle well. If your pond filter has carbon, remove it. Also, turn off UV and ozone - producing units if you have them. For every 150 gallons (567 L) of pond water, add 1 Tbsp (15 ml), or for every 600 gallons (2,270 L), add 1/4 cup (60 ml). When you're introducing new fish to the pond as a preventative measure, use it daily for 3 days. To treat infections or heal wounds, use it daily for 7 days. If the infection is advanced or chronic, double the dose. You can repeat the treatment if needed. Note that some foaming may happen during treatment. Also, if the product is exposed to high temperatures, it might turn cloudy in the bottle, but this doesn't affect how well it works.
